Full Stack Engineer

About the Role

Join xFigura as a Founding Engineer, working directly with the CEO and Head of R&D to build the core systems behind an AI-native design platform used by leading architecture firms, designers, and universities.

This role focuses on foundational work: orchestrating generative models, powering collaborative canvas tooling, integrating with CAD ecosystems, and shaping the platform architecture that everything else builds on. We already have production usage and enterprise adoption. The next phase is scaling capability, performance, and infrastructure.

You'll own systems end-to-end from concept through deployment, translating real architectural workflows into scalable software while influencing engineering culture, hiring standards, and technical direction.

Key Focus Areas

• AI orchestration coordinating 50+ generative models

• Infinite canvas collaboration and creative tooling

• CAD integrations (Rhino, Speckle, Revit)

• Enterprise knowledge and agent-driven retrieval systems

Responsibilities

• Build and ship features and systems end-to-end

• Architect scalable frontend and backend infrastructure

• Contribute to AI workflow orchestration pipelines

• Develop canvas tooling and integrations with design software

• Collaborate directly with users to translate workflows into systems

• Drive technical decisions shaping platform evolution

• Help define engineering culture and hiring bar

• Ship quickly with iterative improvement

Required Qualifications

• Experience shipping full production systems end-to-end

• Strong full-stack engineering capability

• Production experience with AI/ML systems

• Highly effective use of AI development tools

• Comfort operating with autonomy and ambiguity

• Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Real-time or collaborative system experience

• Canvas or node-based UI familiarity

• API and compute pipeline integration experience

• Exposure to CAD/BIM or AEC workflows

• Cloud infrastructure experience

• Early-stage startup background
