AI/ML Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking the best Senior AI/ML Engineer to help design, build, and scale the core generative systems behind xFigura. You will own models end-to-end from experimentation and fine-tuning to production deployment, and work closely with product and design to shape how users interact with AI.

This is a hands-on, systems-level role for engineers who enjoy turning state-of-the-art models into tools people use every day. You will experiment with advanced generative models, integrate them into production pipelines, and collaborate with designers to prototype new intelligent design tools. Your work will have immediate impact, shipping to thousands of architects and designers worldwide.

Responsibilities

• Build and deploy generative pipelines across image, language, and multimodal models

• Design evaluation and feedback loops to improve quality, consistency, and usability over time

• Integrate LLMs for orchestration, reasoning, and interaction inside the product

• Fine-tune and adapt foundation models (LoRA/adapters) to support controllable creative workflows

• Optimize models for interactive use (latency, stability, cost)

• Collaborate closely with product, design, and frontend/3D engineers to ship features end-to-end

Required Qualifications

• Strong engineering judgment and comfort owning systems end-to-end

• 5+ years of experience building and shipping ML systems in production

• Strong Python and PyTorch experience

• Hands-on experience with generative models, including LLMs, diffusion models, and/or multimodal systems

• Experience taking models from research or prototyping into real products

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with real-time or interactive generation workflows

• Experience building creative tools or AI-powered products

• Experience with AEC workflows and/or 3D modeling software (Rhino, Blender, Revit, Unreal, Unity)

• Comfort working with spatial or geometric data
